The other half of that dynamic power port duo, the Baryl™ plug is no less amazing than its mate. Covered with the same high tech encapsulation material it can withstand everything a powersports enthusiast can throw at it. But the Baryl™ Plug has another key feature: it is the heart of the 3BR Powersports home- brew philosophy.

When we looked at all of the accessories that might be powered with the Baryl™ power port, it became apparent that requiring the user to purchase expensive, one-size-fits-all cables was not only wasting the user’s money but also was not environmentally friendly. All of that extra copper and plastic going to waste was just not right.

The trick was to find an easy but reliable way to make the connection between the Baryl™ plug and the user’s accessory power cable. Posi-Locks™ are great connectors and easy to use but too bulky for this application; crimp terminals need special tools and crimp methods to meet our standards for ruggedness and weatherproofing.

The answer was shrink- solder butt terminals. These little jewels are perfect for the application. Just strip the wires, insert the butt connector and heat the joint. Any heat source from a heat gun to a cigarette lighter to a candle works fine. Voila! A weather proof, reliable soldered connection. Assembly Instructions
