I had a similar all weather USB w/ a DIN plug from 3BR on my previous bike. Great quality, never let me down in 12 years. The new bike doesn't have a DIN plug in the cockpit, so I figure this is the next best thing. Install coming up.

Easy to install, awesome quality, love it
This is my 2nd TAPP USB power port. The first one I had on my bike for 50k miles, and it never skipped a beat. I tried a cheap Amazon 12-5v USB adapter and it stopped working within a year. I ended up cutting and splicing into a switched power plug on my bike. I just wish I could have ordered the adapter without the fuse holder already installed... would have saved me from having to cut and solder to my specific length.
3BR's TAPP products are still -- to my knowledge -- the only USB port systems that are rainproof WHILE IN USE. I've used 3BR's Panel TAPP ports on four motorcycles now, and this is my first use of the Universal Mount (on another moto, a Royal Enfield Meteor 350). Same top-notch quality, in-use rainproof, and now an always-on port for the parasitic draw is both negligible and a stated value -- try finding all those attributes in another vendor's product.

I installed this on my motorcycle a few weeks ago. The install was fairly easy, I removed the gas tank and ran the cord under the tank to keep everything clean. I’ve used the charger on a few longer trips and it has worked great so far!
